BLOOMFIELD, NJ -- As the
start date for the upcoming Montgomery Street bridge repair work approaches,
representatives from the New Jersey Turnpike Authority will be conducting
in-person outreach to share information about the project today and tomorrow.
Information pamphlets are also being mailed out to the surrounding neighborhood
and are due to arrive Thursday and Friday this week.
These representatives will be
speaking with business owners, and leaving informative pamphlets about the
extensive project with businesses, and public buildings like the library and
post office.
The NJTA is closing the Montgomery Street bridge for repairs beginning later this month and continuing through most of 2019. NJTA has set up a 24/7 hotline for residents to call with questions: 800-374-5137, and residents can receive weekly text or email
updates. Questions can be emailed to info@gspexit145.com.
Updates on this project will also
be posted on the Bloomfield municipal website.
