Mayor Mundell and Council Seek Applicants for Bloomfield Boards and Committees

 

Oct 30, 2025 - BLOOMFIELD, NJ - Bloomfield Mayor Jenny Mundell and the Township Council are once again inviting residents to apply to serve on Township Boards and Committees. These advisory bodies play a key role in shaping programs and initiatives that help make Bloomfield a thriving and inclusive community. 

 

“Bloomfield’s success is built on the ideas and involvement of our residents,” said Mayor Jenny Mundell. “Serving on a Board or Committee is an opportunity to lend your voice, share your expertise, and work collaboratively with neighbors to strengthen our town. I encourage residents of all backgrounds and experiences to consider applying. Your perspective matters.”

 

Applications are open through Friday, November 28, 2025. Residents may apply online at tinyurl.com/Apply4Bloomfield, or by mailing a letter of interest and resume to:

Earlier this year, more than 70 residents were sworn in to serve on Township Boards and Committees, a reflection of the community’s strong civic engagement and commitment to collaboration. The Township hopes to once again attract a diverse pool of applicants who bring fresh perspectives and a shared dedication to making Bloomfield stronger for all.
