The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has allocated $228 million to New Jersey to aid the ongoing recovery from Hurricane Ida through Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) funds.
To help develop the Plan, the New Jersey Department of Community Affairs (DCA) will complete an Unmet Needs Assessment to learn more about the recovery needs of people impacted by Hurricane Ida and develop long-term recovery programs to help meet those needs.
DCA is currently in the process of obtaining feedback from people impacted by Hurricane Ida. Homeowners and renters can let DCA know what they need to rebuild and move forward by completing the Hurricane Ida Recovery Registration Survey.
Please note: the survey is not an application for storm recovery programs but will ensure that survey participants are contacted when those programs are available.
