BLOOMFIELD, NJ -- The Township is seeking a qualified engineering consultant to perform a detailed stormwater management study. This study will include analyzing its existing system, including modeling for future storms and their impacts as well as identify areas of improvement.
“Combating the effects of climate change and being ready for the next major storm are important priorities for our Township,” said Mayor Venezia. “This study is imperative so that we can take a proactive approach at mitigating damage from future storms.”
Bloomfield is currently accepting submissions for this engineering study and will accept applications until October 22, 2021 at 11am. Standardized submission requirements and selection criteria are on file and available in the Township Clerk’s Office and on the internet at www.bloomfieldtwpnj.com under the information section, Requests for Professional Services.
Submission packages may be obtained at the Township Clerk’s Office, (973) 680-4015, during regular business hours, 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
