Bloomfield, NJ – Bloomfield Mayor Jenny Mundell and the Township Council announce an upcoming initiative to fill vacant positions on various Boards and Committees. Starting this week, the Township will begin advertising and accepting letters of interest and resumes from residents who are eager to make a difference in their community by serving on these vital advisory bodies.
This effort underscores the mayor and council’s commitment to fostering civic engagement and transparency, ensuring that opportunities for service are extended to a broader and more diverse group of constituents. By participating in Boards and Committees, residents have the chance to serve their community while representing the various perspectives and interests that make up our town.
Mayor Mundell encouraged all residents to consider applying, stating:
"Bloomfield thrives when we work together and bring diverse voices to the table. Our Boards and Committees play an essential role in shaping the efforts that impact our daily lives. This is an incredible opportunity for residents to share their talents, ideas, and expertise in service to our community. I strongly encourage everyone to get involved and help us continue building a more inclusive and dynamic Bloomfield."
