Bloomfield, NJ – Bloomfield Township proudly announces its 4th Annual Juneteenth Celebration, set to take place Saturday, June 15, from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The event will be held on Glenwood Avenue, between Washington Street and Lackawanna Avenue in Bloomfield, commemorating the end of slavery in the United States and honoring the rich history and culture of African Americans. Attendees can look forward to a day filled with music, food, and activities suitable for people of all ages. This inclusive and educational celebration is free and open to the public, fostering unity and appreciation for diversity within our community. Local artists, community leaders, and historians will come together to honor this significant moment in American history and celebrate the enduring contributions of African Americans to our society.
