Bloomfield Spring Paper Shredding Adds Reusable Bag Collection to Event
Bloomfield, NJ – Bloomfield announces new program to collect reusable bags, along with their bi-annual paper shredding event on May 11th at the Pulaski Park Parking Lot, 24 Mt. Vernon Ave. Collected reusable bags will be donated directly to Toni's Kitchen Food Pantry as they continue to serve those in our community facing food insecurity.
"Mark your calendars Bloomfield residents. In our continued commitment to the motto reduce-reuse-recycle, we have added collecting reusable bags to the already scheduled paper shredding event," said Councilman Nicholas Joanow, Recycling Committee Liaison. "Since New Jersey's plastic bag ban, many of us are now in possession of more reusable bags than we could possibly use on our own. If that's you, bring them by the Pulaski Park Parking Lot on May 11th, we promise to put them to good use!"
