How to File a Complaint:
Anyone can report a potential health hazard or concern by contacting the Bloomfield Health Department at 973-680-4024. Our staff will be able to guide you through filing the necessary information to process your complaint effectively.
Taking Action:
Once a complaint is filed, a health inspector will be assigned to investigate the issue. The inspector will then determine the appropriate course of action, which may include:
o A verbal notice identifying the concern and how to address it.
o An advisory notice outlining steps to address the concern.
o A formal notice of violation requiring corrective action to eliminate the health hazard.
