Human Services

Human Services is the township’s outpatient mental health and social services center. Public health social workers provide counseling, crisis intervention, home visits and assessments as required by state-mandated practice standards.  A licensed APN provides medication consultation and prescribes medication as needed.  Public health social workers screen patients to determine if they are receiving all applicable services from government programs and nonprofit agencies. Referrals and linkage to programs that provide utility, food, prescription, housing, etc., are also provided.
