The New Jersey Turnpike Authority is closing the Montgomery Street bridge for repairs beginning later this month and continuing until November, as part of its extensive repair work around the Garden State Plaza between mile 144 and 152.
NJTA has set up a 24/7 hotline for residents to call with questions: 800-374-5137, and residents can receive weekly text or email updates. Questions can be emailed to info@gspexit145.com.
During construction, detour signs will be posted throughout the area, with maps available online, at www.gspexit145.com. All repairs are being paid for by the NJTA, which will give a presentation at an upcoming Bloomfield Council meeting. Please continue to read more information on the Bloomfield municipal website.
