Details

Oakeside Cultural Center is a 19th century historic estate, surrounded by 4 acres of beautiful landscape and gardens. The mansion was designed by Architect Charles Granville Jones and built in 1895 by the Oakes family, founders of the Oakes Woolen Mill.  In 1978 the property was gifted to the Township of Bloomfield by Jean Doswell Oakes. This home is on the state and national historic registrar.
