BLOOMFIELD, NJ – Mayor Michael Venezia and the Township of Bloomfield are encouraging residents to participate in a free Spring shredding event on Saturday, June 3 at the Pulaski Park parking lot. Pulaski Park is located at 24 Mount Vernon Avenue and the event will take place between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM rain or shine. In past years over 14 tons of paper were shredded during shred events in Bloomfield.
“I encourage all of our residents to safeguard their sensitive documents and protect their personal information by participating in this upcoming shredding event. Join us as we contribute to a safer community,” said Mayor Venezia.
Shredding events are only open to Bloomfield residents that provide proof of residency, and the event is not for commercial purposes or industrial facilities. If you have any questions or need additional information about the event, please call (973) 259-3162.
