[ARCHIVED] Garbage and Recycling update!

Important Notice Sign

Dear Residents,

As a township, we are doing everything in our power to keep residents safe and continue to deliver the best services even during a time of crisis. We are in constant contact with our waste and recycling provider to make sure that all residents continue to be serviced on schedule to prevent disruption and confusion. Garbage and recycling will continue to be picked up on the scheduled days at this time however, pick up may begin as early as 4am to ensure that every house is hit. We are recommending that everyone have their garbage/recycling put out on the curb the night before scheduled pick up as opposed to trying to get it out in the morning. Should any changes be made in regards to pick up schedules, residents will be alerted as soon as possible. Additionally, until further notice the recycling depot at 230 Grove Street will be closed on Saturdays. This will help limit the "face to face" interaction between employees and residents, as safety is paramount to all of us. Thank you for your understanding during this quickly changing crisis.

Mayor Michael Venezia
