Bloomfield Township’s Annual MLK Day Observance Program to take Place Monday

BLOOMFIELD, NJ -- Bloomfield residents and local officials will hold a celebration of Martin Luther King Day and the Reverend’s legacy on Monday, January 20 at 3:00pm at New Light Baptist Church, 89-91 Dewey St, Bloomfield, NJ. The theme of the service is “Facing the Challenge of a New Era: Building Community Through Love” and will feature remarks from featured speaker, Reverend John Rogers of the First Congregational Church of Montclair, elected officials, and residents. All are welcome.

WHO: Mayor Michael Venezia, Councilwoman Wartyna Davis, other members of the Township Council, featured speaker will be Rev. John Rogers of First Congregational Church of Montclair, other officials, and members of the public.
