Public Health Nursing

Public Health Nurses (PHNs) coordinate services and programs throughout the community and in conjunction with community partners. Our PHNs are instrumental in conducting the Child Health Conference, child and adult immunization clinics, lead risk assessment, screening and case management, Tuberculin Skin Tests, health screenings, Communicable Disease Investigation/Surveillance, Perinatal Hepatitis B Prevention Program, and immunization audits. The knowledge and skills possessed by our PHNs enable them to make significant contributions to public health and the populations in which they serve.

The Office of Public Health Nursing located on the Lower Level of the Town Hall Building. Programs are available to residents of Bloomfield, Caldwell, and Glen Ridge.
