The Bloomfield Parks, Recreation & Cultural Affairs Department oversees three Community Gardens within the Township of Bloomfield. Our objective is to provide residents with the opportunity and resources to enjoy gardening who might not otherwise have that ability. Throughout the year we foster a welcoming environment that promotes recreational organic gardening, healthy living, positive eating habits and environmental stewardship. We accomplish this by organizing and promoting various community garden activities and projects with our gardeners and dedicated volunteers.
Our typical garden season runs from late March to mid-November.
